Amazon Data Lifecycle Manager can be used to automate the creation, deletion and retention of EBS Snapshots and EBS-Backed AMIs. While creating a snapshot for multiple EBS volumes connected to a single Amazon EC2 instance, the following settings need to be added in a Life cycle policy.
Policy type - Snapshot lifecycle policy
Resource type- INSTANCE
Other parameters in a Life Cycle Policy-Target Tags, Schedules & Retention can be set as per customer requirements. 
Option B is incorrect as the EBS-backed AMI lifecycle policy is used to create a lifecycle policy for EBS backed AMI.
